The Farm

Tamano Farm is uniquely set with 6 acres of mix woodland, ponds and paddocks. The farm has stunning views over the Perthshire Hills and offers guests a true break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The shepherds hut is the perfect glamping holiday for 2 people, or if there’s more of you, the lodge is perfect if you’re looking for a self catering break for 10 people.

We encourage guests to get involved with the farm, whether this is collecting the eggs, helping feed and brush the animals, learning about the garden or even getting up close with the bees.

We love sharing what we do with guests, so please just ask.

Guests are welcome to wander around the farm and relax. We’ve set seating up around the farm for you to enjoy. Out favourite spot is up at the pond where you get the last of the evening sun- the perfect way to end the day.

Garden

We operate on organic principles, meaning that we try not to use chemicals on the farm. We have a large veggie garden, that we operate on a ‘no-dig’ system with compost which allows us high productions with minimal effort. We often have extra veggies and eggs spare which we will leave for guests.

Our fruit trees are all local heritage trees, helping the biodiversity in the area. We encourage guests to enjoy all of the grounds, including the wildlife pond and woodlands. There is a large collection of different species of Rowan and other specimen trees which provide an ever-changing backdrop throughout the year.

We only use eco- friendly hand soaps, washing liquids and cleaning products. We are keen to ensure that we minimise our environmental foot print whilst at the same time offering a high quality luxury stay.
